This modestly-sized home was designed in a traditional Spanish style, with the courtyard serving as the organizing, most prominent space.  All of the first floor’s common rooms open onto the courtyard, and all of the upper floor bedrooms have access to balconies of one sort or another.  The architecture employs simple forms, in the spirit of southern Spain, which is a central source of inspiration for much of Santa Barbara’s style.
